Toys for Tots - 12/6/14
STSC in conjunction with Trinity Lutheran Church held a trap and flurry shoot on Saturday December 6, as a benefit for underprivileged children. We collected 46 toys and $165.00 for the children. Our manager Mark Clinkenbeard made the presentation to Pastor Jeff Morey at the Church. The Church will distribute the toys and money to the underprivileged children in their parish on Sunday December 21.

The club would like to thank all the shooters who participated. This event was a first for STSC. It was so well accepted that we are sure it will not be the last.

Reid Hawkins (Grandson of Rocky Reynolds) started his shooting career at Stockton Trap and Skeet Club as a pre-teen at Rich Calone’s barbeque shoot.

Reid is currently a freshman at University of Arizona in Tucson.

Reid took a Gold medal at the Junior Olympic Selection meet for the state of Arizona.
He was high overall by more than 10 targets. He and the girl next to him, Stephanie Gutierrez are both from California and because they both did so well were allowed to compete in the finals.

The J.O.'s (Junior Olympics) are held in July in Colorado Springs, however Reid will be in Costa Rica earning a minor in Spanish and living with a family who only speaks Spanish. He will shoot at the Nationals which will also be held in C.S. in August.

STSC is extremely proud of his accomplishments!
